DANE COUNTY SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

This is the annual request for nominations for the Small Business Awards to be given to selected locally owned, Dane County businesses who meet four specific criteria. The deadline for submitting nominations is March 31, 2009.

Any business placed in nomination must be:

• A viable for-profit company that has been in business for at least three years
• A minimum of 3 full-time equivalent employees
• Successful in their business
• Maintain a responsible and rewarding workplace environment
• Provide support (in-kind or financial) to their neighborhood or community
  

Up to ten awards will be presented to the winning companies at a public breakfast ceremony in June, 2009. Earn the respect and recognition of Dane County businesses by nominating a client's firm, a vendor, or your own firm. After a firm is nominated, they will receive a questionnaire that then is reviewed by the awards committee to determine the winners. To nominate a business please fill in the information below as completely as possible and submit. Self-nominations welcome, as are nominations for more than one firm. Only one nomination per company is required for consideration. Multiple entries do not influence the selection.

Self nominations and nominations of minority and women-owned firms are encouraged.
