FOCUS Achieving Your Highest Priorities

1 Day Time Management Workshop

This is an exciting new program in collaboration with the Small Business Development Centers across the U.S., FranklinCovey.  This one-day seminar is well established as one of the most powerful management development programs in business today and is now available at a special reduced price for small businesses (organization must have less than 300 employees).

Avoid Distractions and Achieve Meaningful Results Every Day

Life's hectic pace can distract us from what is most important

Consider the following statistics*:

-Less than one in five people begins the day with a plan
-The deluge of spam has skyrocketed to 10 billion e-mails a day
-Only 37% of those who make a task list prioritize their tasks
-Less than half of professionals feel satisfied with their work

The urgency addiction

While nobody wakes up in the morning hoping to be filled with stress, overwhelmed with paperwork and e-mail, and to rush around solving other people's crises, people and entire organizations often get caught up in the urgencies of the moment. As a result:

  • We never take time to define what we value most
  • Without a clear vision of our priorities every e-mail, ringing phone, and interruption becomes the priority
  • We spend our days "putting out fires"
  • We become addicted to a false sense of heroism

Feel the satisfaction of a meaningful contribution

Most of us long to contribute in meaningful ways and spend our time on things that are important‹not simply urgent. Spending time on the most important things is energizing, exciting, and satisfying.

FOCUS, FranklinCovey's best-selling workshop, will teach you how to break away from the urgency addiction and achieve new heights of success. You'll walk away with a clearer vision of what you want to accomplish in your personal and professional life and a proven system for sticking to your plans each day.
