What do you like about Accounting?
I love how Accounting truly is the language of business and by learning and understanding how to interpret the financial data you can then consult others to make more educated financial decisions.

Impactful UW experience(s): This past summer I got the opportunity to participate in a global exchange experience through Wisconsin School of Business. During this program, I spent a week at the University of Cambridge as part of an International Business course. This experience was not only extremely fun, but I also was able to learn just how big a role culture has in how business is conducted globally. Both of the instructors, Rob Misey and Stacie Kelley, remain amazing mentors!

Goal(s) for after graduation?
I want to work in public tax accounting and pass the CPA exam. After working in public accounting for a while, it is my goal to come back and teach accounting as a professor. Outside of my career goals, I am attempting to visit every U.S. state before I turn 30.

Favorite things to do outside of work and studying/Interests?
I love to go on long walks listening to music after getting a good cup of coffee and playing euchre with my friends and family.

Favorite Book, Movie, or Podcast?
My favorite book is The Hourse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis
